FAQ
What should we wear to our session?
A.As a rule simple clothes tend to work best and avoiding logos and stripes is preferable, but there is no need to stress about picking the perfect outfit, because I'll send an AWESOME "what to wear" guide your way as soon as your session is booked!
Where are you based and do you travel?
A.I'm based in Odda (Ullensvang Kommune), Norway and yes I love to travel and shoot in new places! If you want to make use of my services, it will require a travel fee for outlying areas (further than 30 km from Odda).
When will we get our photos?
A.Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum of 3 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them and choose your favorites!
How would you describe your photography style?
A.I try and keep my photography very natural, capturing the action as it happens, so it's lots of fun and not too formal or require too much posing. I feel this will portray your character in your images and will also make the session more enjoyable. Don't stress if you are feeling very awkward though, it's natural! I'll have some poses and promts ready to make you feel at ease.
Where does the sessions take place?
A.I offer on location or at home sessions, depending on the circumstances and your specific needs. I love exploring new areas and love to incorporate places that are special to you. Unfortunately I do not have my own studio space yet, but if that's what you're looking for, one can be rented at an extra charge.
At what time do the sessions take place?
A.I prefer to shoot in late afternoon light as this creates the most BEAUTIFUL images, but if this does not suit you we can always work out a time that will.
What happens if the weather is bad?
A.We'll keep in touch in the days leading up to and the day of the shoot, if weather does not permit we can reschedule at no extra charge. Please do keep in mind though that some lovely clouds do make for stunning and dramatic images.
Do you photograph in colour or in Black and white?
A.Your gallery will consist of a mixture of colour and black and white images, depending on what works best for each image.
Do you take any traditional posed shots?
A.Yes, I will spend some time taking some relaxed portraits of you together as a family, as this can be an important memory for you too. But I spend more time letting the action happen naturally and capturing the moments as they unfold.
